One of our students once told me that during their IELTS reading test, they were so focused on the first passage that they didn’t notice how much time had passed. By the time they reached the last section, they only had 5 minutes left to answer 12 questions! It was a stressful moment, but with practice, they learned how to pace themselves. Here are two quick tips: 1) Skim the passage first to get the main idea before diving into the questions. 2) Don’t get stuck on one question—if you’re unsure, move on and come back later. Time management is key—don’t let one passage steal all your time!

Yes, I think the time constrictions in the IELTS tests are a challenge for anyone. Good advice!
